Step 1. First of all, open the installed software on the computer and then link your HTC phone to the computer via the USB cord.

3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode". Then you may back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging".

Step 3. Then choose the Android SD Card Recovery option to continue the process. All file folders will be detected and displayed on the main interface. You can then enter the right file tab to preview more detailed file information and then tick out the files that you want to recover.
